Love the water, helping people, and being outdoors? Join the Napa Open Space District’s Park Aide / Lifeguard team for the 2019 summer season.

The Napa Open Space District will be hiring park aides and lifeguards to work at the Bale Grist Mill and Bothe Napa Valley State Parks starting in early May (though start dates may be flexible to accommodate school and other schedules). The pay ranges from $12.59 to $16.37 per hour, and positions are up to seasonal full-time, May through September. Anyone age 16 and over as of May 1, 2019 is welcome to apply. The District will provide paid lifeguard training and certification for those selected. Lifeguard training attendance may be required for this position.

According to Park Steward Jason Jordan, who manages the Napa Valley State Parks for the Open Space District, “we’re looking for enthusiastic team players who have strong swimming skills, love being outdoors, and are committed to community service.” Working for the Napa Open Space District is a fun, exciting job that provides great leadership skills and plenty of camaraderie.
