Hazardous Fire Weather: Park/Trail Closures 8/15-8/17

Red Flag Conditions in Effect in Napa County

Due to Red Flag weather warnings issued by CalFire and the National Weather Service, the Napa Open Space District has issued the following closures and advisories which are in effect from Saturday 8/15-Monday 8/17:

Park/Trail Closures:

  • Robert Louis Stevenson State Park
  • Oat Hill Mine Trail
  • Moore Creek Park (both entrances)

Park/Trail Advisories:

  • Red Flag Warning throughout Napa County & the Bay Area 11pm Saturday 8/15 – 11am Monday 8/17 (may be extended).
  • Frequent lightning and higher risk of potential wildfire starts in remote areas. Please exercise caution and observe park/trail closures for your safety.

Please note that these closures may be extended depending on updated forecasts and weather advisories. Check back here for updated information.
