Join the annual Spring Trails Challenge and get outside to explore new parks and trails while supporting our work!
Spring is here and that means it’s time for the Spring Trails Challenge to help everyone Go Outside and Play and enjoy our parks. It’s the perfect time of year for exploration here in Napa County with wildflower blooms, green hillsides, and clear days for outstanding views.
Our 2024 Spring Trails Challenge Guide has a selection of trails with options for every ability level and interest. There are no fees or mandatory fundraising to participate – join us for this fun annual event!
Registration is Open!
Registration is open for the 2024 Spring Trails Challenge! Click here to register and you can customize your STC page, add photos, and get ready for your new spring adventures.
Once you’re registered, you will have your own webpage that you can customize with text and photos. If you’d like to fundraise to help support NOSD’s work, you’ll have a link to send out to friends and family asking for donations. The event is free and open to everyone, but participants that raise $100 or more will receive an official STC ’24 T-Shirt!
The official STC dates are March 23 – May 19. Complete 5 trails on the list within this time period, take photos of yourself on the trail, and be entered to win great prizes once you’ve completed the challenge!
How the Spring Trails Challenge Works
The basics of the challenge are simple: select 5 trails from our list of qualifying trails, get photos of yourself out on the trail, and enter to win prizes! After you register for this event, we’ll send emails with trail notes and more throughout the challenge to help keep you motivated to complete your challenge.
Support the parks you love: We’ve added in easy ways to fundraise for your parks while you’re completing your challenge so that you can help support the work of the Napa Open Space District. Fundraising for this event is optional, but your donations help NOSD maintain and improve the parks & trails you love – and helps us get new parks and trails open for us all to enjoy.
Win prizes, get NOSD swag: Complete the Trails Challenge and be entered to win prizes, raise funds for NOSD swag like the official STC ’24 T-shirt, or both!
