Swimming Pool Status & Updates (Bothe-Napa Valley State Park)

Safe Practices Camping (1)Swimming Pool Rules for Summer 2021: The swimming pool at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park is open for use. We’re looking forward to helping everyone enjoy this summer favorite in Calistoga and have implemented new rules and precautions to help keep everyone safer while using the pool.

We will be limiting the number of people allowed in the pool area during each 2 hour session daily and the pool will only operate for these two blocks of time. Between each session, park staff will sanitize the pool and clean all common areas to help keep our pool users safer.

Please read the rules below before planning your visit to the swimming pool.

Open Hours: Saturdays/Sundays 12-2pm & 3-5pm

Fees: $5 per person (infants under 6 months free)

Capacity: Maximum 40 people per session

Pool Passes & Operations

Pool passes will be required in order to use the pool and these are available for purchase at the kiosk at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park.

Please note: All pool users will need to check in with staff at kiosk and confirm that they are not currently experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 and/or have not been exposed to the virus within the past 14 days. All pool users will need to provide contact information in case of exposure to COVID-19.

Pool Passes:

  • Pool passes are $5 per person (infants under 6 months are free)
  • Passes are date/time specific (you are purchasing a pass for a specific pool session at either 12pm or 3pm)
  • Swim time is 2 hours per session
  • All visitors in pool area must have a pool pass
  • Pool passes are non-transferrable & non-refundable
  • All pool users must shower before entering pool area
  • Social distancing of at least 6 feet must be maintained between all groups and individuals not in an immediate household unit

General Pool rules:

  • All visitors in pool area must have a pool pass
  • All visitors must shower before entering pool area
  • No eating in pool area
  • No glass on pool deck (including bottles and glass mason jars)
  • No diving
  • No running on pool deck
