Hazardous Fire Weather: Park/Trail Closures 10.16-10.17 (Extended until 8:00am Saturday)

Red Flag Conditions in Effect in Napa County

Due to Red Flag weather warnings issued by the National Weather Service, the Napa Open Space District has issued the following closures and advisories which are in effect until  8am Saturday 10/17. Please check the NWS website for updates before you head out if you are planning on visiting Moore Creek Park this weekend.

Park/Trail Closures:

  • Moore Creek Park (both entrances)

The following parks & trails remain closed for safety until further notice:

  • Bale Grist Mill remains closed because of the Covid-19 health event.
  • Berryessa Vista Wilderness Park remains closed because of previous fire damage.
  • Bothe-Napa Valley State Park has been temporarily closed for visitor safety.
  • Oat Hill Mine Trail
  • Robert Louis Stevenson State Park

Please note that these closures may be extended depending on updated forecasts and weather advisories. Please check back here for updated information.
