Current Status of Parks & Trails 3/13/26
All parks not listed below are currently open for normal use.
Bothe-Napa Valley State Park – The drinking water fill station for RV/Trailers is not operational at this time. Potable water is available throughout the park at spigot locations but the fill station is CLOSED. Apologies for the inconvenience.
Berryessa Peak Trail – There is a landslide approximately 4 miles into the trail that has partially blocked access to the remaining 2 miles. The trail is passable with some scrambling through the damaged section, but does require sure footing. We hope to have repairs made on this trail soon, but rugged terrain and weather may make this a challenging repair.

Golden Mussel Advisories Affecting Boating in Napa County
Golden Mussels have recently been discovered in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, the first known occurrence of this invasive species in North America. This type of mussel can survive in waters that have considerably lower calcium levels than needed for the other invasive species and are incredibly difficult to eradicate once established. They are also easily transported on boats or watercraft, so local agencies are implementing safeguards to hopefully keep them out of our lakes.
