Draft District Master Plan Released for Comment

The draft Master Plan 2008-2013 is now available for public review and comment.  The District will make a formal presentation and take comments on the draft plan at a special meeting of the Board of Directors to be held November 10, 2008 at 6:30 pm in the Yountville Community Hall (6516 Yount Street, Yountville).  Comments and further discussion is also scheduled for the regular Board meeting on December 8, 2008 at 2 pm in the County of Napa Administration Building (1195 Third Street, 3rd floor, Napa)

The draft Master Plan provides a policy framework for the District, includes a description of existing natural resources and outdoor recreational facilities in Napa County, identifies unmet needs, proposes four goals for the District, describes a work program of 56 projects, and lays out an implementation strategy through the year 2013.
