November 16, 2017

The Napa Open Space District invites you to enjoy Bothe Napa Valley State Park for free on Friday November 24th, the day after Thanksgiving. Bothe Napa Valley is one of the few Wine Country parks untouched by the recent fires. Please join us for a celebration of the resilience of our communities, a day of gratitude to those who responded, and in honor of those effected. Feel free to come and enjoy the park on your own or join in on the fun. Our naturalists will be leading interpretive family hikes, longer adult hikes, and lots of games and activities.
The activities and hikes will be ongoing and take place from 10 am to 2 pm. Most of the hikes will be more informative than strenuous. However, those wanting a more vigorous hike have the option of trekking up to coyote peak. So, pack a lunch and bring the whole family out to Bothe Napa Valley State Park. The first 50 people will receive a free bandanna, complements of the Napa Open Space District.
